So I’ve been doing this series of articles where I look at Black Widow’s costumes and the storylines where they were introduced. There’s not much to say here: Frank Miller had a run on Daredevil. You might not have heard of it, it’s pretty obscure.
As the credits indicate, this is Frank Miller’s first issue on Daredevil. Matt can’t fight off the attackers without giving away his secret identity. Here’s some of Natasha’s inner monologue from the rest of this sequence:
Daredevil can’t make a move while their attention is on him. I’ll have to provide my old partner with a diversion. Unless this blasted dress trips me up.
The “blasted dress” is a green poncho thing, with some strappy heels. Natasha seems to wear green a lot.
