What the actual fuck?
No, seriously, this arc of New Avengers took place when Clint was dead and Natasha was still mostly attached to the Daredevil corner of the MU. Natasha was sent to destroy Clint, not the other way around— and if this is straight MCU what’s he doing in the Raft? I don’t really like the MCU relationship being boiled down to “sultry” and “sizzling” and other romance novel buzzwords, but I really don’t get what’s to be gained by plopping it down in the middle of a watershed 616 storyarc.
But then, if I ran Marvel, I’d not only publish an actual Black Widow comic, I’d put all my marketing $$$ into making Foggy Nelson: Vampire Hunter happen. So maybe that’s for the best.
